Our drywall repair process
Prior to painting the interior of your home, will do a walk-through and take note of any areas that need drywall repair. Smaller holes like those from nails used to hang pictures can be repaired very easily by simply applying spackle or putty into the hole.
Larger holes may require a little bit more work. We will cut around the hole to ensure the edges are square and then place new drywall within the hall to ensure it fits perfectly.
After that, we spackle the edges and apply the patch. Once dry, we sand it down so that it is level with your wall. Once the patch is perfect, we then prime and paint over it. Once painted, it will look as if there was never a hole there.
Why is it important to repair holes before painting?
A fresh coat of paint over drywall imperfections will not hide the imperfections. In fact, it can actually make them more noticeable because the paint is even so imperfections stick out more.
